Dr. Oscar Pino is an experienced General Dentist with over 15 years of clinical practice and 25 years in the dental field. He joined Inspirational Smiles in early 2024 after relocating to Georgia from California and has been practicing dentistry since graduating from dental school in 2010. He is deeply passionate about the art and science of dentistry and is known for his compassionate and empathetic approach, which helps patients feel at ease and motivated to maintain their dental health. This patient-centered approach has allowed Dr. Pino to build strong relationships and contribute to overall patient satisfaction.
Dr. Pino's educational journey is impressive. He is currently advancing his expertise at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI Global), expecting to complete Level 4 by 2025. He holds a Dental Implant Maxicourse Certificate from Loma Linda University (2015), an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Certificate from the University of Pittsburgh (2010), a DDS degree from Meharry Medical College (2009), and an MS in Oral Biology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (2005).
In his professional career, Dr. Pino has worked with various dental practices in Alabama, California, and Georgia. He served as the team dentist for the NHL's Los Angeles Kings during the 2019-2021 seasons, providing care to players, their families, and staff. His prior roles include positions at Redondo Beach Dental Group, the Office of John H. Kim D.D.S., and Magic Smile Family Dentistry in Los Angeles, California, where he honed his skills in comprehensive patient care and advanced dental treatments.
Dr. Pino's expertise spans several areas of dentistry, including oral surgery, digital dentistry with CEREC, root canal therapy, Invisalign, dental lasers, and facial esthetics. He is fluent in both English and Spanish, allowing him to effectively communicate with patients of diverse backgrounds.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Dr. Pino is committed to giving back to the community. He has volunteered his time to educate children in orphanages in Mexico about oral hygiene, positively impacting their dental health.
Dr. Pino is a proud member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, Academy of Laser Dentistry, and the American Academy of Facial Esthetics.
